Who I am

The Creative Carpenter is run by me, Will Harding, from a workshop in Talgarth, Powys. I am the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. Contact me on 07984 619963 or at will@thecreativecarpenter.co.uk.

What information I collect and why

There is no contact form on this website: you reach me by phone, text or email. When you get in touch, I may take your name, phone number, email address, the address the work would be at, and anything you choose to send me about the job (including photos of the room). I use this information solely to arrange the design visit and deliver the work you’ve asked about, and I don’t share it with anyone.

Website analytics

When you visit this website, limited technical information is collected automatically: your approximate location (derived from IP address), the type of device and browser you’re using, and which pages you viewed. I use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to process this data. It helps me understand how the site is used so it can be improved.

Cookies

This site uses cookies set by Google Analytics 4. Analytics cookies (named _ga and _ga_*) persist for up to two years and help count visits and understand navigation patterns.

There is no cookie banner on this site. Analytics is the only thing that sets a cookie here, there is no advertising or remarketing of any kind, and Google Consent Mode v2 is set to keep every advertising signal switched off.

If you would rather not be counted, you can block cookies in your browser settings or install Google’s opt-out add-on. The site works exactly the same either way.

Who I share data with

Visitor data is shared only with Google (Analytics). I use no other tracking, analytics or advertising services, and I never sell personal data to anyone.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact me at will@thecreativecarpenter.co.uk or on 07984 619963.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if you believe your data has been handled incorrectly.

Changes to this policy

I’ll update this page if these practices change. The current version applies from August 2026.
